Porcelain.
I stretch it, paint it, fold it, going to the limits of its strength, fragility and transparency.
It often leaves me in desperation because of its fragility.
It often leaves me in desperation because of its fragility.
It leaves me breathless with the feeling of happiness to see its fragile intensity.

Rosa Mistica a Vermezzo
This Maria was asked for by a neighborhood in Vermezzo (MI - Italy).
The tiles are arranged in a small sanctuary on the mainstreet from Vermezzo to Zelo Surrigone. It is of course dedicated to Maria (her name a Maria das Roses and pose was inspired by a statue of a Maria das Rosas in Braga, Portugal, in Italian her name became Rosa Mistica), but she is also dedicated to my mother (to whom she resembles) and to my sister.
CERAMICS - working with porcelain; folding it, bending it, writing and drawing on it, loving it, making it mine!
