very thin plate and bowl, porcelain, with incisions, light blue glaze
they are so thin and light that they were almost blown away
by the wind on the Piazza Santissima Annunziata in Firenze...
dainty and delicate...

Ø 11cm. (measured without rim) or ±18cm.(measured with rim)
porcelain, outside oxides and pigments, inside glazed
the new ones have a different glaze;
again an alkaline one,
it gives such terrific shades of blue and turquoise.
the cup at the left (with a glaze born from an error... which liked a lot) has a rough stone like surface,
while the cup at the right has a soft velvet shine.
I'm at the Lago Maggiore now, in Oggebbio
looking out of the window over the water
it is almost snowing
small white pieces of paper
wishing you a happy new year
