I stretch it, paint it, fold it, going to the limits of its strength, fragility and transparency.
It often leaves me in desperation because of its fragility.
It leaves me breathless with the feeling of happiness to see its fragile intensity.

Tiles for a Street in Oggebbio (Lago Maggiore)

An ancient stone wall with new tiles in a small street in a village
just some hundreds of meters above the lake (Lago Maggiore).
The Village is called Pieggio and is a 'frazione' of
Oggebbio (Verbania).
Met dank aan Marco!

acqua nella fontana (e anche dei pesci...)

This fountain is dedicated to San Zenone, the bishop of Verona who became patron of fishermen.

Rosa Mistica a Vermezzo

This Maria was asked for by a neighborhood in Vermezzo (MI - Italy).
The tiles are arranged in a small sanctuary on the mainstreet from Vermezzo to Zelo Surrigone. It is of course dedicated to Maria (her name a Maria das Roses and pose was inspired by a statue of a Maria das Rosas in Braga, Portugal, in Italian her name became Rosa Mistica), but she is also dedicated to my mother (to whom she resembles) and to my sister.
